Martingale dog collars are particularly recommended for "escape artist" dogs that tend to slip out of regular dog collars.
A martingale collar features two loops: a wider one that rests comfortably on your dog's neck, and a narrower control loop. To put it on, loosen the collar, slip it over your dog's head and adjust it comfortably. When your dog pulls, the control loop uses a limited amount of cinching to promote secure walks and positive retention. Once the pressure is released, the collar loosens back to its normal position. Always ensure a proper fit to avoid discomfort and always think about their safety first.

1. Proper Fit is Key
All collars should fit but not too tight, even when fully tightened. To ensure the best fit, measure the largest part of your dog’s head and their neck, and choose a size that fits both comfortably. Please measure your dog correctly.
2. Not for Off-Leash Use
Martingale collars are intended for supervised leash walking and training sessions. Using them off-leash can pose a safety risk if the collar catches on something or if dogs are playing together.
